Ryan Still and the Auction

The Still Family, lead by Ryan Stills mother, held a fundraiser in Mid-state New York in August,2004.
Heatther says that the day went great. "We did a silent auction, which totaled over $2,000 alone. We did a raffle with the autographed picture you gave, season passes to Colgate University sports, the trip, and a diecast NASCAR car. We also did 3 different 50/50 raffles, which totaled around $200. We charged $10 to get in with advance ticket sale and $15 at the door. That included a show by the local "Blues Brothers" and an acoustic performance by a local entertainer. Also we served hamburgers, hotdogs, and different foods made by my family, which we included in the ticket price. There were around 200 people that came. Sharon ran a small trivia contest with 5 rounds. She got 6 tables and we gave them a $250 cash prize which was donated by my brother's employer. We sold the beer @ $1 per cup, that made around $850. We had volleyball, a dunking booth, horseshoes, and badmitton. We also had at least 30 door prizes. I didn't hear any complaints. Everyone loved the silent auction. We had 54 baskets ranging from a $4 starting bid to $65 starting bid. Sharon made a quilt which went for $150.
I am still getting donations in the mail also. This was a lot of fun, and I hope we can do it again next year"
